Nicole Spicer

Nicole Spicer joined the Law Office of Erin M. Wilson, LLC, in October 2023 after having owned her own private solo firm based in Northwest Indiana. Nicole received her B.A. from Indiana University with a degree in Theatre, and then received her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota (formerly Hamline University School of Law) in June 2005. She was admitted to the IL bar in November 2005. She decided to expand her legal license to Indiana and was admitted to practice in Indiana in September 2020. Nicole actively practices in all areas of family law in both Cook County, IL and Lake County, Indiana. Nicole is a trained Guardian ad Litem in Indiana, and a certified Family Law Mediator in Illinois.

Nicole has been involved with the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) since 2020. ICADV provides free legal representation to needs-based domestic abuse survivors who need help in family law matters. Nicole is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, where she is an active member of the Women in Law Committee. Nicole has also done work as a Regional Attorney for Ascend Justice, which helps incarcerated women with family law issues.

Nicole strives to help educate clients as they go through the often difficult and emotional process involved in family law matters, so that they can make the decisions that best suit their own situation. Nicole believes that transparency, respect, and communication are key for client interaction.

Nicole lives with her teenage son and daughter, her husband, and way too many dogs, as she has a definite soft spot for the four-legged furry creatures. She is an avid reader, pop culture junkie, and thinks that every room should have a smelly candle.
